It has long been recognized by Kincardine District Minor
Soccer Club that there are many talented players who do not have the opportunity
locally to develop to their full potential.
In recognition of this, KDMSC has joined with the Saugeen
Shores Soccer Club to develop a Long Term Player Development Program where
players with have a ‘through career’ soccer program to allow them to play at
the highest level of soccer that they can attain.
The two clubs will draw from the common talent pool of the clubs, and play under the name of Huron United.
Currently, we have coaches and teams available from U10-U18. Practices and try outs are taking place, and will continue into early spring. The final cuts will be done by April 15th, 2011.
The following is a list of the Current Practice and Try Out Venues as we know them:

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q – How do I register?
A – Register in Kincardine & Port Elgin as you would normally and put your name on the Rep Team lists that are available at registration or contact the Coach for the team you are interested in.
Q – What if I don’t make it on the Rep Team.
A – By registering at the scheduled dates every Player is guaranteed to be placed on a House/ lakeshore team so even if a player doesn’t make it there is always an avenue to play soccer.
Q – Can I play on House and Rep League
A – Yes. If a player is picked for the Rep Team they are still eligible to play on the House/ Lakeshore League. It is anticipated that the level of competition will benefit the individual and the local teams overall.
Q – Can I play only on the Rep League
A – Yes. However, we encourage players to play as much as they can. It is widely known that the more a player touches a ball the more skilled they will become. The principle aim of the program is to develop and improve soccer overall.
Q – What is the cost for Rep Soccer
A – $175
Q – What is the cost for House/Lakeshore Soccer
A – Prices are set by the local Soccer Club. Contact your Club Registrar or the website for more details.
Q – Where will the Rep Teams play?
A – Home games and practices may be in Saugeen Shores, Tiverton or Kincardine. Away games will depend on age division, but generally include areas such as Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Owen Sound, Fergus and Guelph.
Q – What if I have further questions?
A – For Rep Soccer contact the Coach in the age group you are interested in. If it is for House/Lake Shore contact a member of the Executive from the Soccer Club you are interested in or the following:
