
Home Hardware nabs the win....
Home Hardware girls dominate the field tonight in Kincardine as the team brought there "A" game tonight, with the 30 degree heat, didn't slow the down to challenge Walkerton Red in a battle .
The 1st half was even with Jorie Elliot opening the game with the 1st goal, set up by Megan Stewart-Kemp with in the 1st 5 minutes, but answering back soon, Walkerton were able to tie it up with a goal. With Eden Mcfarlane & Jenna Gade forcing the play into Walkertons en-zone, Home Hardware were rewarded with a penalty shot, Morgan Baker taking the shot sniped a 11:00 o clock left hand corner with out a chance of saving to go ahead for the 1/2 time break . After the well deserved break, the team lay out change, & it wasn't more than 10 minutes later Elliot scores from a 4 way pass, from the midfield area, starting with Nicole McLeod, Bethan Killin , Hallie Byle . Then the game just shifted to major effort from all the player, yet Baker was on fire, packing up 3 more goals, like it was a basket ball game! Heart of the game goes to Eden McFarlane & The play of the game well deserved goes to Morgan Baker ! A special good bye to Coach Steve Colley & Sofia & family are leaving the area to live in Cambridge , best of luck Steve & you all will be missed! Gordo
