Canadian Tire U12 Girls Continue Winning Streak

The Canadian Tire Under 12 girls soccer team continued their winning ways this past Thursday with a win over Saugeen Shores.
The girls out-hustled their northern rivals and got goals from Maddie Duncan (with 2) and Brooke Leppington for a 3-2 victory. The team had solid goal-tending from Lauren Jolley in the first half and Jessica Dales in the second half. Some excellent defensive plays were made by Taylor Hasson, Christine Benney and Alexandra Jaszkul to turn away scoring chances. Elsie Shewfelt and Delaney Evans each had a few shots on net that were thwarted by the Saugeen Shores goalie. The girls are looking forward to their next game this Thursday versus home-town rivals Home Hardware. Roll, Tires, Roll.
