What a well played game. Way to use your head Riley!
The teams got out to a head on head start, with some fast pace moves on both sides of the field. After a near miss off the cross bar Riley set the first goal with a well place header. Walkerton followed with their first soon after. Not to be left out Derrick landed in the second and last in the first half.
Not to be out done , 6 minutes into the second half Chase had his own goal off a header. Followed not too far behind was midfielder Jessie L after a well communicated pass from Derrick. The teams battled up and down the field each taking shots on the goal keepers and keeping each others deffence busy. Chase was able to get the ball on a break away a speed up the field to send the ball pass the walkerton goal keeper to bring the score to 5. Walkerton returned with two more goals. Then the tie up infront of the walkerton net brought Jessie L up from midfield and after the goal keeper saved one shot Jessie had a high kick over the keepers fingers to bring the game ending score to 6-3 for Kincardine.
