Rostering Checklist (Kincardine Minor Soccer)

PrintRostering Checklist
  1. Make sure all eligible players are registered and in Accepted status
  2. Make sure all teams are setup on website
  3. Import teams to SH Registration season (keep names the same on both sides)
  4. Rostering starts in "Registration" side
  5. Get requested rosters from appropriate club contact
    1. Director of Competitive for Competitive teams
    2. House League Convenor for House League teams
    3. Coaches for Lake Shore League Tier 1 teams
    4. Coach coordinator for Lake Shore League Tier 2 teams
  6. Manually drag and drop players against each team in "Registration"
  7. Launch teams only when ready to be public
    1.  Automatic email generated to the parent/guardian that registered the player notifying them of the team and telling them to download the App
  8. If new players, you may have to import to the website side.
    1. separate report needs to be created for download, manually update to required fields, import into Master List for players
    2. Players can be added manually to the Master Player List as well, need first name, last name, birthdate and hometown
  9. In Members area, change dropdown to the team to add rosters
  10. Select players from list to add to roster
  11. Create a team news article if needed (usually for a Tier 1 team) announcing the Final Roster
  12. OSCAR
    1. Exporting of Players from SportsHeadz and into SportsEngine
    2. Manually select players from Members Directory and manually add players not found
    3. Create season, create Divisions, create Teams
    4. Drag and drop players to teams
    5. When complete, Share with OSA (Membership "buy" step involved)
    6. Work through any errors until all rosters are green
      1. errors tend to be around duplicate accounts, missing memberships, etc
