New Guidelines for Local Paper Team Submissions
Submitted By John Adams on Tuesday, June 21, 2011
Greetings all,
after some discussion with our local papers, we have had to make a few changes to our game reports being submitted to our local media.  Effective immediately please ensure your game reports meet the following criteria when emailing them to the papers.

Maximum Length---250 words  this is down from 500 words due to the number of teams we have. The articles you do for the website still have no limits, but space restraints with our local papers have meant they need to cut back on the length of submitted material.  The papers have asked that we keep to the 5W's, be sure to use first and last names for all players mentioned, and include the final score in the write up.  These will be more clinical summaries to be sure, but please remember, the website can be used for the more descriptive game summaries.  The main goal of our articles in the paper is to inform the general public about the status of our leagues, and get our sponsor's names in print.

Game scores and a brief summary should go to MYFM immediately after the game via the MYFM website.

Deadline for all articles to be in for both papers is
FRIDAY by NOON  any articles submitted beyond this deadline may or may not be published or could be delayed until the following week.

Here are the updated emails for submitting our game summaries
