Seeking input regarding offering girls only teams earlier***UPDATED***
Submitted By John Adams on Saturday, December 15, 2018
The executive is asking for feedback from you, our parents and players, on what the feeling is regarding separating our teams by gender starting at the U8 level as opposed to the U12 level as it currently splits.
***Update***we are looking at creating a girls division--individual players would be given the option to remain playing on a mixed team or joining an all girls division. This would be a choice offered to each girl registering. They could play in an all girl division or the mixed division but not both

This is in response to a concern raised at our Annual General Meeting, and at this point we are in an information gathering mode only as we look at how this would come together and if there is enough interest in doing so.
We would ask that you complete the Poll available on our website which can be found on the left hand side of the screen. We understand that you may have more comments than a simple yes or no vote available through the poll, so also welcome feedback through email.
If you have more detailed feedback, we would ask you to email it, along with your full name, email address, and connection to minor soccer to [email protected] Feedback received regarding this issue will remain confidential and only be shared with the executive committee as a whole at our monthly meeting. We would ask given the short time frame we have until our season starts that you please send in your feedback no later than February 1st.
Please feel free to call this matter to the attention of any involved players or parents that you know of that would be affected by the potential implementation of this change for the coming season.
