U8 and U10 Mandatory Evaluation Day Schedule
Submitted By John Adams on Monday, April 29, 2019
As was noted previously, we are holding a mandatory evaluation day for our U8 and U10 house leagues, including both the mixed and girls divisions.
This day is scheduled for May 4th, with the schedule as follows.

There will be a total of four stations that we will be asking each registered player to participate in, and all the stations will be set up at the Davidson Center Soccer fields. We are holding this evaluation day to assist us with the establishment of more balanced teams based on parental feedback from the previous seasons, so would ask that every effort be made to have all registered players attend these sessions.

For the U8 and U10 Mixed League (boys and girls who did not request to play in the All Girls Division)

Check in and warm up will go from 10:00-10:30 AM. Each player will be provided with a number bib to allow for the tracking of their journey through the evaluation process.

10:30-11:30 AM--Evaluation Period. The players will be split into four groups, who will then make their way through each of the four evaluation drill sites. Each evaluation period will be 15 minutes long, and the four stations will be as follows:
1. Passing
2. Dribbling/Ball Control
3. Shooting
4. Small Sides Scrimmage

For the new U8 and U10 All Girls Division

Check in and warm up will go from 12:00-12:30. Again, as with the mixed division evaluations, each player will be provided with a number bib to allow for the tracking of their journey through the evaluation process.

12:30-1:30 PM--Evaluation Period. Players will again be split into four groups, who will make their way through the same evaluation drills as the Mixed league players did. Each evaluation period will again be 15 minutes long, with the same four stations as listed above.

Again, we do request that this day be viewed as a mandatory attendance day for ALL registered players in the U8 and U10 house leagues, both the Mixed and All Girls divisions, as the goal of these evaluations is to help us field more balanced teams in the upcoming season, and was prompted by feedback from parents, coaches, and players. Your support and assistance in helping to make this a successful day is greatly appreciated.
Regards
KDMSC Executive
