Reimbursement Policy (Kincardine & District Minor Soccer)

Coaches
  • KDMSC will reimburse coaches for required training courses (as defined by Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer) in order to execute their role within KDMSC and provided the coach will be coaching within KDMSC in the next upcoming season. The coach needs to be rostered to a team within KDMSC and complete at least 1 season coaching a team.

  • KDMSC will NOT reimburse coaches for travel, accommodation, meals, mileage or any other expenses incurred while obtaining any coaching certification.

  • Proof of Payment and Proof of Completion of course is required to submit to KDMSC

    • Example of Proof of Payment:  email copy of payment receipt from online training registration

    • Example of Proof of Completion: email copy of course satisfactory completion; copy of a certificate of completion

  • Reimbursement will be provided at the end of the applicable season.

  • Any other requests for reimbursements for coaches will be provided on a case-by- case basis pending KDMSC executive approval.

Referees
  • Fees associated with Match Official training, uniforms or yearly registration fees (RefCentre) will be reimbursed by Kincardine & District Minor Soccer at the end of the then current season as long as minimum criteria of 10 games refereed is met for that season.
    • Course fees (Entry or Small Sided)
      • Eligible if successful pass of the online and practical courses.  
      • Eligible for a single time reimbursement
    • Ontario Soccer Match Official yearly registration fee.
    • A single referee kit/uniform cost (up to $65)
      • Eligible for a single time reimbursement
      • Note: Contact Referee Coordinator prior to purchasing on your own.
Documents required:

  • Final completion certificate(s) and or proof of passing the online and practical sessions
  • Copies of any receipts
    • courses, registration fees, referee uniform kits, etc.
