Important Information to Know
Any type of game outside of your League regular season games requires approval.
The
Competition and Travel Management System (aka CTMS) is the online tool that is used.
- The site includes a Festival or Tournament Directly search tool. Once you find one of interest, there will be a link directing you to the hosting club to register with the them. (CTMS is not a festival or tournament team registration tool)
- Festivals are for age groups U12 and under. They are a 2 game, single day format.
- Tournaments are for U13 and above age groups
- CTMS (the tool) is used for the following approval requests from KMS & EMSA:
- Application to Host Exhibition Game (AHEG)... other teams will need this to travel to Kincardine
- Application to Travel Form (ATF)... for any exhibition game, festival or tournament you want to attend
- Festival Hosting Application Form (FAF)... talk to the KMS first before requesting to do this
- Tournament Hosting Application Form (TAF)... talk to KMS first before requesting to do this
- International Transfer Certificate Form (ITC)
- You will need a login setup by KMS to submit anything via CTMS tool for approval
- There are NO notifications generated to you, the Club or EMSA for things requested via CTMS.
- When you submit as a member of the coaching staff, you have to notify KMS that you have submitted a request.
- Once KMS approves ("Status = Club Approved"), it then goes into EMSA's queue and you will be look for "Status = Approved by District" to know you are fully approved and can proceed with the game(s). EMSA checks their queue regularly, if something seems delayed (long than a week) KMS can reach out to EMSA.
- Typically any of the requests require an EMSA Approved Roster when submitting. Contact KMS to go through that process if you do not have one.
